- About me:
- I write novels, poems and non fiction. I play music, and
make part of my income from photography. I've admired
and studied Tibetan Buddhism for 40 years, and it has
been a huge influence on my literary work.
- My contributions for the process of reconciliation:
- I suppose you could call my novel, "The Gods Of The Gift"
a contribution. I have at times housed or dined Tibetan refugees, and lost one of my girlfriends to a Rimpoche.
The prospects of reconciliation are murky. It would require remaking the Chinese mind-set. Settling the dispute about
the Panchen Lama, i.e. acknowledging the Tibetan choice
would be definitive. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening
any time soon, so we must simply trust to the wisdom of
His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, and follow his lead.

Prologue to the sci-fi novel "The Gods Of The Gift"
When he was nine years old, Garuvel Nep Zing discovered
that he could disappear. He was sitting in a white gazebo on the family estate. It was hidden by tall thin evergreens to the rear of the Great House, at the end of a long sloping lawn. Garuvel treasured this spot for its remoteness from the prying eyes of his family and their servants. Tony Levin is a session bassist who has played with too many artists to list here. He is mostly known for his work with Peter Gabriel and King Crimson...
The voice is a tough instrument to master. I too tend to strain... relaxing surely helps...
Most of the demos I have in my Ning player are MIDI files, i.e. not executed by humans... Check out our YouTube channel and MySpace page for live stuff and demos with actual playing...

Got a "Tony Levin Band" vibe from some of them... probably your profile pic had something to do about it, but your tone of voice and the general mood reminded me of him also... Are you primarily a bassist ?
